I need a job. I hate being home all day, granted the job of mom is great, but I am sick of it . I may go out of my mind. I need to have an adult life more than escaping to the stores in the evening. I think it will be good for the whole family if the kids go to daycare while I get my time away, besides I think I will be a better mom due to the fact that I won’t be around them all day long . Absence makes the heart grow fonder, so I know that after a long day of work I will be happy to spend time with them when I get home . Okay, so that’s taken care of. It has been years since I have had a job title other than mom, so I am not exactly sure what I can do anymore, or how to go about doing it . It’s very rewarding raising kids but not very taxing on the brain cells; maybe I’ve lost some of them from lack of use. I began my job search, with all the typical places online to look such as HotJobs.com, monster.com and craigslist.com . I’ve noticed a trend of easy money jobs that are all obviously a hoax, I may have lost a few brain cells while away from real work, but I am not stupid . There are also a ton of jobs that are straight commission, working sales, probably selling vacuum cleaners door to door . Surprisingly I found a data entry job for a Online Data Storage company. I know I can do that, so I will send my resume, begging for the job in the cover letter . Yeah I know not to sound too desperate but I am.
My business is a jewelry store, and I have to admit I love it . I offer everything from cheap charm bracelets to Harry Winston diamonds, and if someone wants something custom order I can do that too, at an extra cost out of their pocket, of course . I am having a few issues with my business though, I am not organized enough to keep track of my inventory . I don’t have a very good inventory system, actually I do not have one at all, we hand record everything on log sheets . I know this is archaic but we were a start up company and not one person had any idea on how to deal with computers . But these days we have to figure out some other way. I understand that there are various technical Data Backup Offsite programs (I have no clue what they are called, so this might not be correct) in the market . I know that this software can organize everything for me and put it all into a Online Data Backup system so it will all be available when I need it . I have considered getting some sort of program for ourselves to upkeep or we can hire an online company to keep on top of it for us. Now that I have these two options I have to do a pro and con list of both to help break it down further . The online company is a small monthly fee. The initial cost of the Online Data Backup software will put a dent in the company’s bank account, as well as many man hours to input the information and the upkeep of the information, but will eventually save us money . With the online company in the long run it will cost more money but it’s not a big investment and also ‘time is money’.

I spent my day like all the others . I grabbed a cup of joe on my way . Computer was down. Should have known. This got me to thinking about work and Data Recovery.
